"It was great to see people of all ages and photographic abilities interacting on our tour!"

What Do We Do?

Cornwall Photography is a community arts project based out of Pool, Redruth that aims to achieve the following;

  • Bring the community together.
  • Capture the natural (and unnatural) beauty of the Cornish landscape.
  • Tell the stories of our history.
  • Inspire and engage new audiences.

We run free workshops and photo walks teaching the art of photography and helping people improve their mental wellbeing.

We also create galleries to inspire and entertain, both online and in the local community.

Walk On The Wild Side

Cornwall Photography CIC regularly hosts scenic photo walks all over the Cornish countryside. Photographers of any level of experience, from newcomers to professionals, are invited to capture their own take on the surroundings that inspire them. The keen photographers are encouraged to engage with one another, discuss techniques, exchange pictures and form a stronger community bond.  We believe that getting out, engaging with a group and doing something creative that inspires you is great for mental and physical wellbeing. As well as this, hosting these kind of projects in a place like Cornwall, which lacks the level of art and culture present in other areas, is instrumental in the development of the local community.
